Lucero Martinez

     Hello, I am a 1st grade teacher at Brownsville ISD.  This is my first class back in the University.  I've always been interested in technology and this is why I decided to come back to school and be a part of this technology program.  It's a little hard getting back into the role of a student but I am enjoying what I am learning.  I hope to learn even more as we go along. 

     My team is the Fantastic 3 and they can reach me through: text, skype, phone call, wiki, and email.

Event- Air pollution

E>A      Pollutants will cause global warming which will then burn holes in the ozone layer.

            Pollutants will cause heat from the sun to stay inside our atmosphere, raise temperatures, and will create heat waves.

            Hurricanes may become stronger because of the rise in temperature.

            Acid rain is a result of air pollution.

E>B      Pollutants in the air may cause people to get respiratory problems such as allergies, bronchitis, and cancer. 

            Plants will not grow sufficiently and will not give off enough oxygen due to them not growing sufficiently.

            Plants will not grow sufficiently due to acid rain.

            Marine life may not sustain in acidic waters due to acid rain from air pollution.

E>H      Oceans, lake, rivers, and other bodies of water will become acidic.

            Rise in temperatures will cause the glaciers and snow to melt and raise sea levels.

E>L      Pollution of soil through acid rain will cause soil to become acidic and not be good to produce crops.
